MagicTextTools is a free collection of online text tools for writers, students, developers, marketers and anyone who works with words. The site currently offers 46 tools, from simple counters and converters to generators and formatters. Every tool is free, works without an account, and runs right in your browser.

Our mission

Our mission is simple: keep simple tasks simple. You should not need to install software, create an account or hand over your data just to count words or convert a file format. We build tools that do one job well, load fast, and get out of your way. No clutter, no dark patterns, no paywalls on basic features.

How the tools work

Most MagicTextTools tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste text into a tool, that text stays on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers, not stored in a database and not shared with anyone. This design is good for privacy and good for speed: there is no upload delay and no round trip to a server for every keystroke.

A small number of tools may rely on lightweight server calls for features that need them, but these never store your input text. The pages themselves are static, which keeps them fast on phones and desktops alike.

Who builds these tools

MagicTextTools is run by a small independent team. We pick new tools based on what real people search for and ask us about, then we build them to a simple standard: fast, free, private and easy to use on any device. We test each tool with real inputs before release, and we keep improving them based on feedback.
